Before you move in, there are a few steps to organising your fencing and landscaping. Check the guide below and note the key dates in your diary, so the finishing touches are ready for your first day at home.

Fencing and Landscaping Checklist #

Step 1: Contact your contractor early
About 8-12 weeks before your home reaches Practical Completion, please contact our nominated fencing and landscaping contractors. Their details are listed below. Reaching out early helps avoid delays once you’re ready to move in.

Step 2: Prepare your site
Before works can commence, your site must be ready with the driveway and crossover installed, the site clean and level, and irrigation or conduit provisions installed where applicable.

Step 3: Consultation
The contractor will arrange a consultation to walk you through your fencing or landscaping options. For landscaping, this may include selecting plants from the approved palette and confirming what’s included in your package.

Step 4: Installation
Your contractor will complete the works and liaise with you directly to arrange timing, access and any final details.

Step 5: Handover & warranty
Once everything is installed, the contractor will hand over your fencing and/or garden and provide any care tips or information you may need.
