Organising and planning ahead is the sure-fire way to ensure that your night runs smoothly. When it comes to orchestrating the menu, we suggest cooking dishes that you already know and love or opting for recipes that seem fancy but aren’t too difficult to cook. Serve The Perfect Drinks
Providing your guests with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks is a fantastic way to ensure that everyone has their favourite beverage to hand. This mocktail is a good option. Don’t forget that you can’t go wrong with a selection of classic wines and beer combos, but we also recommend mixing things up and trying out some of these great mulled wine and spiced beer recipes.
Get decorative
Don’t forget to decorate because a couple of well-chosen table accessories make all the difference. We suggest beautifying your table with fresh or dried flowers to really make it pop. If you really want to set the scene, light a few scented candles, and string up some fairy lights along the wall or ceiling – it’s a great way of controlling the ambience. Another great idea is letting your drinks and cheese board table form part of the main attraction – and just giving everybody the chance to dig in and choose their own favourites from what’s on offer.
Preparation is Everything
You’re probably going to be at your busiest just before your guests arrive.
